Swimming swimming in a swimming pool, when days are hot, when days are cool, in a swimming pool...breast stroke side stroke, fancy diving too...dont you wish you had nothing else to do.
Tom took the day off Tuesday which was AWESOME! Nora had her 2 year Dr's appt. which went great as she kept reminding everyone in the building that she'd get a sticker once she was done. She did so well, she got 2 stickers. The Dr was very impressed with how many words she knew and how she formed proper sentences....She really amazes us.
After that we stopped by to visit little Wyatt Leland (my older brothers 3rd baby) Nora has no issues with a new baby...the only issue is when we hold the baby because she wants to hold him...lol she loves babies especially sweet baby Wyatt.
once done with that we went over to my parents house for a swim as it was 105 degrees outside...a nice cool down i'd say. again, nora loves to swim!
most recently, (yesterday) we were again in the pool..Nora is becoming more and more advanced in the pool. She holds her breath all on her own, goes under water and pushes herself up. So much so that yesterday she would drop a rock on the step, hold the side, and her breath go under water get it and return to the top all while blowing bubbles under water. (there is no need for concern as Tom and i are holding her other arm-just in case) a little back round on me..i learned to swim before i learned to walk...so i guess its only natural for nora to love and adapt to the water so quickly.
Today we are going back to the pool (duh) and will try to teach her to float. She's started to get the kicking down which is so cute to see her little long legs kick kick kick....lol i'll try and get some video/photos to upload so you all can see....
Lastly, We're really looking forward to Tutti, Grandpi, (jk Grandpa and grammie) Aunty Missy and Uncle Mark coming for a visit for Nora's 2nd birthday! It's going to be a blast!
love you MN family!

Nora..almost 2!!!! oh my!
Our sweet Nora. We can hardly believe that she will soon be a two year old! my goodness. i was looking at her this morning as she was watching Curious George and was so amazed at how my sweet baby is now a toddler! She LOVES life, people, outdoors, the poo (as she calls it, which is pool), and anything smaller than her.
She makes us laugh all the time...I'm sure people by now are over all the "Nora stories" cause that's all we have to talk about! She is so smart and very independent! She knows all her ABC's and knows how to count to 10 even though most times she gets distracted and starts to sing something from Yo Gabba Gabba. Currently she is learning the Pledge of Allegiance-thanks to Naana she will be so patriotic come 4th of July.
Fathers day is celebrated in 2 parts at the Eiesland home. Saturday morning is when Breakfast in bed happens (as Tom has to be at church really early-it just works better for our family) So Saturday morning i made my lovely...banana pancakes, eggs, and watermelon and of course had coffee for him too. I got Nora out of bed and put her in bed with Dad and along came his breakfast... of which Nora of course indulged in herself.
Saturday was a great day, Tom picked out a Gas grill for his gift, and then we went to Papa and Naana's house for a swim. Nora is a fish! She would swim until the sun goes down and then comes back up again! Maybe it's a familiar feeling as she was in my belly "swimming" for 9 months.
On another separate note April 1st Tom and i took the Job as part time Jr High and High School pastor's at Grace Community. We know that the Lord has called us to the youth there and we are absolutely loving it! We are soooo busy and are learning to manage our time so that we have time for each other. But we know this is where God has us, and we're enjoying seeing the Kids grow in their relationships with Jesus.
The Beginning of June Tom and I decided to change the name of the youth ministries (as all new pastors do..lol) We decided upon The Grove Student Ministries....definition being: a group of trees planted and cultivated to bear fruit. We knew this was the right name as we are excited to see what fruit God is going to bear in these students...
any ways. there's the update on us for now...sure there's more but don't want to bore any of you.

our 11 week old Nora is making us laugh daily! she is rolling over (from her tummy to her back) talking more than we thought any baby could...and laughing most times with her Naana....(she musint understand my humor yet..)
she went to the galleria yesterday with us.... she did a tremindous job....getting all the ooh so cute comments that one can get in a crowded mall.... haha...her hair is coming in a bit..looks a bit strawberry colored but not 100% sure as the bottom back never came out from when she was born..thats brown parts look blonde and the rest look strawberry...so she's got lots of colors...haha!
we'll most likely re-open our facebook as that seems most convienient for everyone...
